Sign-ups set
OXFORD – Sign-ups for baseball, softball and T-ball will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 31, at the Station House Community Center.
T-ball is for ages 5 to 6; softball, ages 7 to 18. Age is determined as of Jan. 1. Baseball ages are 6 to 15; ages determined as of April 30. The fee will be $15 a child or $40 a family of three of more.

Graduation meeting
PARIS – There will be a Project Graduation meeting for all seniors and their parents at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School’s Room E118.
Easter egg hunt
OTISFIELD – The annual Easter egg hunt in the Otisfield Community School gym and playground will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 31. There will be fun and games in the gym followed by an Easter egg hunt outside on the playground, weather permitting. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Benefit supper
BUCKFIELD – There will be a benefit supper for Lorraine Litchfield from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Masonic Hall.
The menu will include casseroles, baked beans, salads, rolls and desserts. Cost is $6 for adults and free for children under 10.
Lacrosse clinics
PARIS – The Valhalla Youth Lacrosse will hold weekly co-ed clinics beginning Saturday, March 31, from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School for students, regardless of age, who are interested in the game of lacrosse, and for those students who plan to play five and six and seven and eight grade travel team lacrosse this spring.
Focus will be on proper stick handling and passing. Members of the OHCHS lacrosse team will also be there to assist the coaches. Contact Maureen Tozier at 966-3144 or Doreen Burnham at 966-2117 with questions.
Turkey dinner
PARIS – There will be a public turkey dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the VFW Post 9787. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12.
Finnish dancing
WEST PARIS – Anyone interested in Finnish dancing may attend a beginner’s workshop at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Finnish American Heritage Center, 8 Maple St. It is free and open to the public. No partner is required.
Program on vinegar
PARIS – A program on “Vinegar of the Four Thieves” will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 7, at the McLaughlin Garden Historical Home, South Paris.
Those attending will learn the story behind the herbal insecticide tincture, the herbs involved and start the process to finish at home. Pre-register by calling 743-8820. Cost is $8 for members, $10 for nonmembers. For more information, visit www.mclaughlingarden.org.

WATERFORD – Holy week services have been announced at the Waterford Congregational Church, UCC.
Sunday, April 1, at 10 a.m., Palm/Passion Sunday worship service.
Thursday, April 5, at 7 p.m., Maundy Thursday Service of Tenebrae and Communion.
Sunday, April 8, at 6:15 a.m., Easter Sunday sunrise service, a joint service with the North Waterford and Stoneham churches at Keoka Lake Public Beach. Breakfast will follow at the Wilkins Community House in Waterford Village next to the church.

Bridge play
NORWAY – The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met March 23 in the Fare Share Market, Main Street. A four-table Howell movement club chamionship was played.
Finishing first Flight A in a close game were Dick Allen and Pete Cummings, winning by .19; second, Pat and Mike Quinn; third, Eleanor Griffin and Marta Clements. Finishing first in Flight B were Barbara and Paul Beegel; second, Bev Pelletier and Bev Dolan, who also were first in Flight C.

OXFORD – Grace Fellowship Church, with Pastor Lloyd Waterhouse, Poplar Avenue, will have Easter sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, April 8, with breakfast following regular service at 10:15 a.m.
