LEWISTON – Lewiston Adult Education has a number of classes scheduled to begin Feb. 26 through March 1. Registrations are still being accepted for the following:

“eBay Essentials”: The four-week class will provide a general overview to buying and selling items on eBay. It will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays starting Feb. 27.

“Hosting a Healthy Kid’s Party”: Is scheduled for Thursday, March 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. The one-night program will let kids and parents experience the joys and cost savings of entertaining at home.

“Medical Billing”: The class will take place from 6 to 8:15 p.m. Mondays starting Feb. 26 for seven weeks. For those in or looking to enter the field of medical office support, the course will give a foundation in medial billing practices.

“Medical Coding”: Is a course for those who have completed medical billing and need an overview of CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding principles. The seven-week program is scheduled for 6 to 8:15 p.m. Tuesdays starting Feb. 27.

“Parenting a Second Time Around”: Join other grandparents and relatives looking for strategies and suggestions on parenting again. The five-week course will be held at the B Street Community Center from 1 to 2:30 p.m. starting Tuesday, Feb. 27.

“Setting Up A PC Home Network”: The seven-week class is designed to discuss the essentials of creating a home network. A basic knowledge of MS Office Software is required. The class will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays starting Feb. 28.

“Soups On!”: The class will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27. Participants will learn how to make new varieties of some healthy and wholesome soups and stews.

“Steps to Accumulating Wealth”: Staff from Northeast Bank will cover the basics of tax management, wills, insurance and retirement planning in a user-friendly manner. The workshop is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28.

“Simple Chinese Cooking (B)”: Cam Luu has agreed to host a second session of the hands-on class from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 30. The class will be held at that Wei Li Restaurant, 945 Center St.
