I write is support of Ned Claxton in his bid for election to the Maine Senate.
My family and I have known Claxton for more than 30 years in several roles: family doctor, neighbor, friend, community member, as a leader in regional health matters and as a concerned citizen. His success in many roles originates with his ability to connect and work with diverse people and viewpoints. He is a good listener, a problem solver, and is diligent, kind, sensitive and articulate. He will work “across the aisle” for policies that will benefit environmental protection, increased access to affordable, quality health care, job creation and tax equity, including property tax relief.
In his career, he has demonstrated, as a doctor and an involved community member, that he cares for individuals and families.
I know Ned Claxton would be a thoughtful, independent and energetic representative. He has earned my vote.
