Mexico girl granted wish to visit Hawaii

MEXICO – Brooke Young of Mexico was granted a wish to go to Maui, Hawaii, by the Make a Wish Foundation of Maine.

Brooke, her family and friend spent a week in Maui doing all the things she could, including going to the Maui Ocean Center, snorkeling with large sea turtles, going to a luau, horseback riding, parasailing, surfing and shopping.

Make a Wish grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. Brooke was born with truncus arteriosis and has had two open-heart surgeries.
