DIXFIELD – Neighborly Senior Citizens met on Oct. 18 at the Dixfield Legion with 54 present. A ham dinner with all the fixings was prepared and served by Post 100. The 37th anniversary meeting was called to order by President Connie Tutlis.

The secretary’s report was given by Carol Gallant and treasurer’s report by Larry Kerr. Entertainment was provided by Bing and Nancy Crosby.

Celebrating October birthdays were Ginny Campbell, June Merchant and Lucille Bohren; October anniversaries, Marge and Bob Harlow, 53 years, and Morton and Sandy Frost, 39 years.

A moment of silent prayer was held for Pearl Noyes. Door prizes were won by Jean Nasatowicz and Clayton Davis.

The next meeting will be held Wednesday, Nov. 15, with a potluck dinner. Members are asked to bring items for the annual Christmas fair to be held that day.

There are still a few seats available for the Monday, Dec. 11, trip to Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, N.H. Don Who will be present and the $45 price includes bus, welcome reception, luncheon buffet, floor show, dance band, a Christmas party with gift and a visit from Santa, free photo and sing-a-long.
