AUBURN – The second annual Men’s and Women’s Day service will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at Christ Temple Church of God in Christ (log church), 2488 Turner Road. The theme is “Power in Unity.”

The host pastor will be Elder Albert R. Jackson Sr. He will give the invocation. The sponsor, the Rev. George Washington of Christ Temple, will give the welcoming.

The speaker will be Elder Charles A. Warren Sr. and the scripture reading will be by Pastor Lester Libby, both of Christ Temple.

The master of ceremony will be Deacon Scott C. Giguere of Fellowship Church in Greene, and the Fellowship Church New Life Praise and Worship Ministries will sing.

The Men’s Gospel Choir and Gospel Mass Choir, both of Green Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church of Portland will be special guests as will the soloist, Mrs. Ralph Knight of Oxford, Evangelist Ralph Knight Ministries. There will also be selections by Christ Temple Church of God in Christ, Praise and Worship and others.

There will be a reading by Lucille Raglin of Christ Temple and a sermonic solo by Tiffany Warren of Christ Temple.

The public is invited, and a free-will offering will be taken.
