Ms. Laurie Lane is the new Spanish teacher at Philip W. Sugg Middle School in Lisbon. Ms. Lane attended Geneva College in Western Pennsylvania, and majored in Spanish and Sociology. She earned her Masters in teaching from the University of Maine in Orono. Ms. Lane has taught Spanish for two years.

Her favorite part of teaching is getting to know her students. This year, her students will be learning colors, numbers, days of the week, culture, family, geography, and vocabulary. “The community in Lisbon is really great. Parents and staff are really encouraging, and it’s been really great getting to know my students,” shared Ms. Lane.
