Church school
LEWISTON – The South Lewiston Baptist Church, 1919 Lisbon Road, will present its annual vacation Bible school from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m. Monday through Friday, July 31 to Aug. 4.
“Fiesta. Where Kids Are Fired Up About Jesus” is the theme. The program invites children, ages 4 to 12, to play teamwork-building games, sing songs, nibble munchies and apply daily challenges to experience Bible adventures. Children will have an opportunity to create Bible Point crafts to take home.
Each child attending will have a chance to join nearly a million children in North America in a hands-on mission project of making blankets that will be donated to needy children in Latin America. Family members and friends are encouraged to join the children daily at 11:30 to hear the singing during the Fiesta finale.
