LEWISTON – A number of students at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College have accepted membership in the Golden Key International Society and were honored at the annual recognition ceremony held recently at the college.

Golden Key is the premier college/university honor society in the world, with more than 1.6 million members in 335 chapters in the United States and several other countries. The global nonprofit organization grants academic recognition to college juniors and seniors in the top 15 percent of their class.

It also provides scholarships, leadership development, community service and career networking opportunities. Society membership is by invitation only and is extended to qualified students in all fields of study.

The USM/L-A Golden Key inductees are Lisa Bazinet, Ryan Arnold, Tamara Watson, Amy Dulac, Kathy Becvar, Karen Fischer, Jessica Manzo, Anne Liss, Melissa Brochu, Crystal Cartwright, Lauren Cox, Stephanie Dumont, Samuel Hill, Shannon Linton, Amber McCaslin, Bonita Morin, Eloise O’Neill, Laurie Paradis, Danielle Sirois and Dianna Walters.
