On Friday, Oct. 17, Elm Street School had their first dance. The dance was held in the school gym. The seventh and eighth graders had their dance from 6:30 to 9:30. The fourth to sixth graders had a a sock hop which took place from 4 to 6 p.m. Admission was $5 plus drinks, which were 50 cents and snacks were $1each.

If you wanted, you could invite guests from other towns or schools. If you needed to invite someone, you had to have them signed up in the office by Wednesday, October 15. There were around 40 junior high students at the dance.

The student council had to find volunteers to chaperone the dance. There around five chaperones there. The dance went great and everyone had fun!
