PARIS – Sheriff Lloyd Herrick has announced the Senior Appreciation Day picnic to be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 30, at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds.

This picnic is sponsored by the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office TRIAD Program (crime prevention for senior citizens), area law enforcement agencies and Oxford County Business.

The event is free and there will be popcorn, coffee, doughnuts, a picnic lunch, ice cream and cake. Entertainment will include the Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club and Dot Canwell and Friends

A Chinese auction will be held to help fund other TRIAD projects, and there will be a fudge/book sale, 50/50 tickets and door prizes that people must be present to win.
