JAY – The town office will close at 2 p.m. Friday, April 21, due to computer upgrades.

March speaker

FARMINGTON – A March for Violence-Free Communities will be held Saturday, April 29, gathering at 9 a.m. at Meeting House Park, Main Street, followed by a program at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church until 11:30 a.m.

The keynote speaker will be Maine Commissioner of Public Safety Michael Cantara. Janine Winn, executive director of SAVES, will be presented an award.

Registration

TURNER – Kindergarten registration for Turner residents will be held on Thursday, May 11, and Friday, May 12, at Turner Primary School. To make an appointment, call Pat or Jan at 225-3655. The child must be age 5 on or before Oct. 15.

An original birth certificate and immunization records will be required at registration.
