What is the one thing parents love the most? The answer is their children. Every parents loves, cares for, and caters to every need of their child. Now, you’re probably wondering why this is called ‘Baby Think it Overs’ right? Well because that was the whole purpose of the experiment teens at Elm Street School learned. Each. teen had to take home a baby that weighed anywhere from six, to seven pounds. The baby had to be cared for like a real baby. Teens had to feed them, burp them, rock them, and even change their diapers. The baby also recorded everything that the teen did to neglect the baby. Yes, that means shaking baby syndrome was apart of it too! Not to mention the baby would cry when shaken not softly either! The baby can wou cry for as long as it was programmed to.

The teens had to bring them home for a whole twenty-four hours. Shortly after bringing them home, they found out taking care of a baby wasn’t the funniest thing in the world. They also found out how much time is spent on a baby. But the major thing teens learned is that when you have a real child, you don’t get to do the same things as other people. Also you don’t get half the amount of sleep you’re supposed to! The baby would scream until its need was fulfilled. I guess the purpose for the whole experiment was to let us know we aren’t ready yet, also that we need to keep our priorities straight and not forget what’s important.
