Knitting guild
PARIS – The Western Maine Knitting Guild meets at the First Congregational Church, 17 East Main Street, South Paris, on the first Tuesday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon. The next meeting will be Dec. 6 for the annual Christmas party. Anyone is welcome to attend who is interested in knitting. For more information, call Midge Leighton at 743-7677.
To print book
WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Historical Society will print the book “Culture,” by curator Larry Billings. It features essays on literature, art, music, history, antiques and religion. Billings has been interested in culture for years.
