OXFORD – Anyone who thinks they may be gluten-intolerant can attend a seminar on living gluten-free from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Dancing Trees Lodge.
Participants will learn about what has become a common problem of allergic-type reactions to wheat and other grains that contain gluten. Learn about symptoms, resources and alternative foods and get together with other people who are gluten-intolerant.
The seminar will be led by Suzanne Dunham, who has spent the past 20 years learning about the condition and how to live with it. She is also an herbalist.
For more information, call 665-2967 or send an e-mail to [email protected]. Registration fee is $10, which includes handouts and a gluten-free snack. Class size is limited.
