LEWISTON – South Lewiston Baptist Church will host its 44th annual missionary conference Friday through Sunday, Oct. 14 to 16.
A Friday night kickoff featuring missionary highlights and special music is planned for 7 p.m. at the church. The conference will continue through Sunday evening.
The theme is “Lord, What Will You Have Me To Do?” Speakers will include Dale and Judy Carlson of the Root Cellar, Dan and Carol Hatch with Straight Ahead, Stan and Tami Brown ministering in Central Asia and Henry and Vicki Cooper serving in Bolivia.
Also participating will be Jeff and Susan Becker of Jeremiah 19:11 Ministries, who will lead a children’s conference throughout the weekend.
A men’s breakfast and fellowship is planned for 7:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. The women will meet at 10 a.m. for a brunch and devotional at Governor’s Restaurant. A potluck supper is planned at 5:30 p.m. at the church, followed by workshops that involve each missionary presenting highlights of their mission field.
The missionary guests will speak at morning and evening services on Sunday. The first service will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the evening service at 6 p.m. A question and answer time with refreshments will follow.
