FRANKFORT, Ky. — Monique Jeanne D’Arc Pelletier Begin, 68, of Frankfort, Ky., went to be with her Lord Wednesday, May 9. Born in Lewiston to the late Donat and Marianne Pinette Pelletier on March 6, 1950, Monique lived a life of giving and love. She married her best friend, Gerard “Jerry” Begin, on July 25, 1970, and had six beloved children.

Monique and Jerry devoted their lives to Jesus Christ and sharing His love with all of those in need through the services at the church they established and their counseling, food and clothing ministries, and many beautiful crafts made and freely given. Known as Mémère to her grandchildren, she delighted in them and they loved her dearly.

Monique leaves behind her children, Scott–Henry, Avril, Wayne (Laura), Keith (Nicole), Aaron (Lesley) and Gregory (Sarah) Begin; 12 grandchildren; and seven siblings.
