FARMINGTON – When Jerry first arrived at the Franklin County Animal Shelter, he was a little timid, but he was just a little kitten then. He has grown up here and has become most affectionate. He loves to be patted and to curl up in a vacant lap. His one little quirk is that he sometimes feels a little nervous when he is being held.

Jerry enjoys a good head scratch and will sometimes get so involved that he will tip over. Gracefulness is not one of his many talents. Jerry can usually be found lying with his feline comrades during the day, but can be easily persuaded to play and give love. Many people who come to visit remark that he follows them around, seeking affection. He absolutely adores attention.

New dogs at the shelter include a Corgi mix found in Chesterville and a Dalmatian mix found in Livermore Falls.

The Farmington Fair raffle winner was Kim Murphy-Pillsbury of Farmington.
