This year Elm Street School’s Christmas play will be titled The North Pole goes Rock and Roll presented by students in grades 4-6. The Drama Coaches this year will be Sally Riman and Karen Downing ,who also teach at the school. Well, let’s go back to the good old days of poodle skirts and juke boxes and that’s where Santa and his elves will be groovin’.

Santa’s feeling gloomy about everything just being the same and he thinks that something needs to be changed, something needs to be hip and cool, something needs to be rockin’ and a rollin’. So since the red suit and old black boots aren’t doing it for him, he decides to take a trip back into the 50’s. There he finds the poodle skirts, slick leather jackets, and bobby socks. This play is filled with style, music, and Christmas cheer. It is a must see, so come on out on December 19′ to Elm Street school, at either 1 p.m. or 7 p.m. to enjoy a fun filled time of laughter and fun!

A review of the play will be present in the Academic Advocate after December 19, so keep your eyes peeled for anything new!
