HEBRON – The descendants of Kenneth and Inez Purington of Mechanic Falls gathered at Hebron Pines Campground on Aug. 6. There were 76 family members present representing five generations.

Games included water balloon toss, egg toss and three-legged race. Families brought photos to share as well as a favorite dessert with the recipe to start a family reunion cookbook.

Prizes were awarded in the following categories: oldest in attendance, Evelyn Harriman, 89; youngest, Hunter Brackett, 5 months; traveling farthest, Gail and Chris Staples of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; descendant with the largest number of family in attendance, Evelyn Harriman, 23; married the longest, Vic and Bunny Pray, 51 years; married the shortest, Tom and Danielle Caron, 20 months.
