LEWISTON – The AARP Androscoggin Chapter 4077 is making plans for its coming season and seeking adults at least 50 years old who are members of AARP National, to join the chapter.

The group will be meeting at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, at the Multi-Purpose Center on Birch Street.

Local 4077 has been a sponsor of the Wednesday in the Park program and has supported the activity for many years.

State Director Jud Dolphin installed new chapter officers and discussed the chapter’s projects, including the May Day of Service, at a recent meeting.

The chapter meets at 1:15 p.m. on the third Monday of the month except in June, July, August and January, at the Multi-Purpose Center. Meetings often include guest speakers. Annual dues are collected and refreshments served. For more information, call 782-9052.
