AUBURN – Post 22, American Legion, Lewiston, conducted memorial services at the Schooner Estates, Stetson Road, for residents and guests.

The program opened with Pledge of Allegiance by the assembly. The invocation was given by Post 22 Adjutant Jerry DerBoghosian followed by singing “The Star Spangled Banner” by all.

The U.S. service songs were sung, with an introduction of all the U.S. veterans present. Past Commander Gerald Labrie read the meaning of Memorial Day. DerBoghosian led a sing-along with Terry Gendron on the organ. The program closed with all singing “God Bless America.”

Punch and cookies were served by the Schooner Estates staff followed the program.
