LEWISTON – The Jesus Party Pentecostal Kids’ Church received a special visit and greeting from the Rev. Samuel Rushombo of Glory of Christ Ministry in Rwanda, Africa.

Rushombo began his public ministry in January of 1996 and has worked in the areas of AIDS awareness, social affairs, assistance to those who live in poverty and housing and education for orphans.

He is touring American Christian churches to glean concepts as well as seek support for his mission. He is traveling with a former church member, Mathias Rugire, who is residing in Portland and attending the Deliverance Bible Institute. Serving as an interpreter is Jean B. Nzeyimana, a member of the Portland-based International Christian Fellowship.
