AFC Christopher David Guimond has completed his training in space systems operations in the Air Force.

Guimond joined the Air Force after he graduated from Edward Little High School in 2004. He completed his basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, and technical school at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., and Fort Gordon, Ga.

Guimond is stationed at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., where he will work in conjunction with the space program at Cape Kennedy.

Guimond is the son of David B. Guimond and Gina Aube Guimond of Auburn.
