Rotary speaker
LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club will meet at noon Thursday, Aug. 4, at the Ramada Inn when members will learn more about Androscoggin Habitat for Humanity from Sally Belisle. Anyone wishing to attend to hear the speaker or to learn more about Rotary is welcome. Weekly buffet luncheons are $8 a person.

LEWISTON – Lewiston High School Girls Soccer Booster Club meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, in room B117, Lewiston High School.
School open
POLAND – The Poland Historical Society has announced that the Old Schoolhouse will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursdays effective until Sept. 8. The schoolhouse is located at 1229 Maine St., next to the Town Office.
The Poland Historical Society works to preserve and present Poland’s past. Members of the society will be available to answer questions and give a tour.

LEWISTON – Lewiston Adult Education has something for everyone during the fall session. Fall catalogues are in the mail and placed around town. Registration opened Aug. 1 and classes will begin Sept. 6. Lewiston Adult Education is located in Lewiston High School and people can visit, call 795-4141 or register online at www.lewistonadulted.org.
