Looking around the dark room, I couldn’t see my hand in front of my face. There was a mirror in the far right corner of the room. My small flash light was glaring through the mirror giving me a chill every time I notice it. Scared to move, or call out for any spirits I grasped the light tightly as though it was the only thing keeping me alive. My hands were shaking, my head hurt from all the blackness. The room seemed bleak in the pitch black. I was alone, or so I thought.
Gaining the courage to move from the quietness, I walked toward the mirror. After all it was the only item in the room noticeable from where I was standing. I looked into it, seeing the sweat on my face. Tears in my eyes I hadn’t noticed before started to come down. I took my eyes off the mirror to wipe the tears from them. I looked back and saw two dark mysterious eyes glaring at me. They were not mine, and I thought I was alone. Turning around quickly there was nothing there. But yet the eyes were still there. I heard a loud bang, and felt a sharp pain in my leg. Looking down I realize it was a rock. Laughing out loud to myself, another one was thrown. This time, it hit me in the face, and I knew there was something else there.
Knew I should call out, but I was frozen in my own fear. I closed my eyes for a few moments, then called out, “Are there any ghosts here?” I didn’t have to wait long for a reply because there was a huge bang. Along with the bang I heard a blood curdling scream, it was my own. I covered my mouth with my hand, and told myself out loud it was okay. Then I said, “Do you want me to leave?” again I didn’t have to wait long, another bang occurred, this time it was louder. I knew I should get out of there but my feet wouldn’t move! Not thinking I said, “Get me out of here!” but there was no one around to hear me.
A few moments had gone by, and I thought I was safe. I was singing a song in my head called, “Girls with Five Colors in Her Hair” by Mcfly. It seemed to calm me down so I continued to sing, but this time out loud. Apparently the ghost didn’t like my voice because I felt something touch me near my mouth as though saying to shut up, so of course I did. Then I heard a whistle which was my cue to leave the room. I left safe and unharmed physically, but mentally I was totally changed!
