On April 25, Elm Street School held the Thirteenth Annual Art Show. Every year Poland students in grades K-6 submit artwork to appear, and Minot students along with Mechanic falls students in grades K-8 also do the same.
The art show consists of mixed media, computer generated art, drawings, clay work, and many other masterpieces. The kids from Poland and Minot were bussed over to Elm Street School during the day to see the show. That same evening from 6 to 8 p.m., families came and looked at the students’ artwork.
The three art teachers who helped the students were, Kelly Whitten, teacher of Elm Street School, Sarah Johnson, teacher of Minot, Jonathan Grafius, teacher of Poland.
We are looking forward to the Art Show next year.
