AUBURN – The Edward Little High School class of 1954 held its 50th reunion on July 10 at the Hilton Garden Inn.

A tour of the high school was held Saturday morning and a social took place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the home of Bruce and Elaine Potter Pinette. A Sunday brunch was held at the Martindale Country Club.

At the Saturday night banquet, 150 people, 91 of them classmates, attended. Honored guests were retired teachers Libby Goldman and Harry Jones.

Leland Akerley was Master of Ceremonies. The invocation was given by Sr. Sylvia Genesse, PM; the toast to the boys, Marilyn Hurley Cadman; and toast to the girls, Warren Witas.

The class letters were read by Doris Bryant Peterson and Eleanor O’Connor Cummings. Gary Cadman gave the financial report. In charge of raffles and door prizes were Richard Olum, Thomas Freeman and Pennell Woodard. Warren Witas was in charge of the music. A moment of silence was held for the deceased classmates.
