MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police in New Hampshire say they treated a woman in a minivan suffering from a drug overdose with 4-year-old son asleep in the back.

Police in Manchester said they found the woman unconscious in the driver’s seat with a hypodermic needle on her lap Tuesday. They gave her an overdose antidote.

Police believe the two were inside the minivan with the windows rolled up for at least an hour as temperatures climbed into the 80s. The child wasn’t hurt and was brought to his father.

His mother, 34-year-old Sara Donlon was charged with operating under the influence of drugs and child endangerment. She’s to appear in court June 6.

A family member said Donlon is a mother of three boys and has been living in Maine for three years, according to NewsCenter Maine. She is originally from Dracut, Massachusetts.

It wasn’t immediately known if she had a lawyer; a message was left at a possible number.
