JAY – The Western Mountain Women’s Connection will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Western Mountain Women’s After 5 Club will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, at LaFleur’s Restaurant.
A networking time will be held for businesswomen from 6 to 6:30 p.m. The groups are sponsored by Stonecroft Ministries, an international organization having no membership or dues, with approximately 1,500 established groups in the U.S. and Canada and about 80 in foreign countries. The groups are inter-church and all women of the area are invited.
Michael Mills of Michael J. Mills Landscape and Garden Center in Rumford will present a feature on “Landscaping Ideas for Your Flower Gardens, Patios and Walkways.”
The guest speaker will be Becky Watson of Essex Junction, Vt. She has a degree in music education, teaches private music lessons and is a flutist. Her topic will be “Overcoming Stress.” She will relate how she learned to balance her busy life when she began to feel out of tune. She will also present musical selections on her flute.

The cost for the luncheon and/or dinner is $11, including tax and gratuity. An invitation is extended to all area women to attend.
