AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer a program to help motivate and empower employees. Employee Motivation and Empowerment (CCS 008-01) is designed to help people understand that they can choose how they perceive and respond to situations, people and events.

The class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m. from May 25 to June 17 at the college. The cost is $295 and includes all books and materials. The third person from the same company may attend at half price.

Participants will move through 10 areas critical to increasing self-awareness, changing attitudes and improving relationships.

The program will be presented by Harriet and Chuck Vaughan, a husband-and-wife team, who provide training and coaching in personal relationship skills. They have more than 16 years of experience in providing seminars and workshops for organizations throughout Maine and are members of the American Society for Training and Development.
