RUMFORD – The Mountain Valley High School music department will present its spring concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 12. Presented in a cabaret-style in the cafeteria, the concert will feature the band, chorus, jazz band and select vocal group.

Society speaker

DIXFIELD – The Dixfield Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 13, in the Charter Meeting Room. “Get to Know Your Neighbors – A Thumbnail Sketch of Mexico and Byron” will be presented by Irene Hutchinson. The public is invited to hear about pioneers, some of which were an integral part of Dixfield. Light refreshments will be served.

Quilters to meet

RUMFORD – Rumford Area Quilters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 20, at the Rumford United Methodist Church, Linnell Street. A machine quilting/stipling demonstration is planned. All area quilters are welcome.
