TOPSHAM – Flying Changes Center plans to offer a summer horsemanship day camp experience for youngsters ages 8 to 18.
Each five-day session gives campers the opportunity to ride, carriage drive and vault as well as exposure to the work and responsibility of equine care.
Special activities may include visits from equine care professionals who will discuss health issues in greater depth, drill team exercises choreographed to music, care of miniature horse foals and field trips to enrich knowledge of horsemanship.
Flying Changes instructors are accomplished horsewomen with professional credentials in the education/social services/health care fields. The program works to strengthen the interaction of children and horses through the dynamics of human/animal bond.
The cost is $300 a week with a $100 deposit due with registration.
