WEST PARIS – Cabin Fever Countdown continues from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoons at the West Paris Unitarian Universalist Church on Main Street.

The church opens its doors to the community for crafts, games and puzzles on March 4. In addition to the above activities, Nancy Willard will lead a Tai Chi demonstration. The date of this program was changed due to illness. Tai Chi is low impact exercise which can be done by almost everyone.

On Thursday, March 11, Patty Makley will lead a workshop on Origami, the ancient art of paper folding. Makley makes difficult looking projects easy for beginners.

Fun Fur is the topic for March 18. Those participating will knit a scarf and share other patterns. Some fun fur will be available but it is advisable to bring your own in order to have the color you desire. One skein of fun fur or other eyelash type yarn should be sufficient for a short scarf. Large (size 10 or larger) knitting needles are needed. Some needles will be available but bring them if you have them.

These cabin fever afternoons are free, and offers a time for sharing interests and activities. Snacks and drinks are available. Everyone is welcome. For more information call Beverly Stevens, 674-2481.
