LEWISTON – Ten individuals from Farmington and surrounding communities just added a new dimension to their life.
On Jan. 24 they completed 27 hours of training to become Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice volunteers.
One volunteer said, “The training has been a great experience. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and listening to the speakers.”
New volunteers are Joanne Moloney, Farmington; Marie Poulin, Jay; Beatrice DiSotto, Jay; Maria James, Industry; Donna Peare, Jay; Joe Poulin, Livermore Falls; Roger Condit, Farmington; Irene Castonguay, Livermore; Beverly Winchenbach, Livermore Falls; and Julie Shible, Farmington.
Nancy Greene is the hospice volunteer coordinator.
Hospice volunteers are a diverse group of various ages and walks of life.
