PARIS – Because of donations from a number of local organizations, many children in Oxford Hills will have their wishes come true this Christmas.
Mitch Green and his students at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School have helped to organize the Toys for Kids campaign for the last three years. Students purchase the toys and the Oxford Hills Rotary Club wraps and distributes them through the help of the Child Health Center in Norway. This year toys have been purchased for 88 children.
Technical school programs donating more than $700 this year include auto tech, building trades, culinary arts and graphic arts. An anonymous donation was also received in the amount of $500. Other donations were received by Ed and Carol Smith, the Oxford Federal Credit Union, Oxford Hills Dental Association, Crossway Family Dental, Dr. Glenn Wood and the Oxford Hills Rotary Club.
