LIVERMORE FALLS – Monday, Dec. 1, will be the final day for sign-up for the Christmas dinner being served by the Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens on Dec. 8. The cost is $6 and the St. Rose choir will entertain at the Christmas party.

Guest speaker on Dec. 1 will be Robin Andrews who will discuss arthritis. Anyone who wishes to play a game is asked bring take a wrapped gift, with no name on it, valued at least $2.

SeniorsPlus will be serving a ham dinner on Dec. 22 and sign-up for that meal is also on Dec. 1.

Fifty members and one guest, Bill Chabot, were present at the Nov. 24 meeting at Murray Hall. After a meal from SeniorsPlus, Chairman Shirley Couture led the business meeting and Mary Groleau led the group in singing “We Gather Together.”

Named to the sick list were Marie Leblanc, Joyce Richard, Leda Slovak, Lorraine Ellingwood and Joan Lazier.

Drawings were won by Cindy Hebert and Gloria Bickford. Hebert also won a napkin holder made and donated by Aurelien Couture and Cecile Hathaway won a turkey candle donated by Sybil Bailey.
