WEST PARIS -Ring McKeen American Legion Post 151 and Auxiliary assembled at the Agnes Gray School parking lot for a Veterans Day program on Nov. 11. The group proceeded to the Veterans Monument for a program there and then marched back to the school to disperse.

Roy Fowler, carrying the American flag, led the parade. He is a World War II veteran and served under Gen. George Patton.

The Rev. Bruce Tyner of West Paris Baptist and North Paris Federated churches gave the prayers. Cleo Ryerson read the special Veterans Day prayer written by her husband, Emery Ryerson several years ago.
