PARIS – Sharon Bouchard will be the speaker at the 10 a.m. service of the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris, Sunday, Oct. 12.

Her sermon topic will be “The Stuff We Keep,” during which she will share thoughts on the junk we save in our closets and drawers and the emotional junk we keep in our hearts and heads. Music will be by Renee Wales, flutist; and Forest Perkins, organist. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Child care is provided and everyone is welcome.

Rummage sale

NORWAY – The St. Catherine’s youth ministry is having a rummage sale from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the parish hall, 32 Paris St. Proceeds will benefit the youth by paying for retreats and activities. Some of the donations will also be used for AWAP as their “Make a Difference Day” project.

Rabies shots

WEST PARIS – Rabies shots will be given to cats and dogs from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the West Paris Grange Hall, 4 Church St. For more information, call 674-3046.

Flu clinic

WEST PARIS – The flu shot clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, at the West Paris Grange Hall. Bring Medicaid or Medicare cards for free shots. There will be an $8 charge for others. Muffins, coffee and juice will be served after people get flu shots. For more information, call 674-3046.
