BRIDGTON – The Lake Region Healthy Communities Coalition will meet at noon Tuesday, Aug. 3, at the Bridgton Community Center, 15 Depot St.

The coalition will hear two guest speakers. Bob Shinners of Enterprise Maine in South Paris will speak on the Bridgton Micro Loan Program and Terry Ann Stevens, development project manager, Office of Community Development, will discuss Community Development Block Grant funds available for projects throughout the Lakes Region.

Society supper

LOCKE MILLS – The Greenwood Historical Society will hold its annual potluck supper at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at the historical building. John Davis will present a program on “Railroad Fanning in Japan” after the meal and a short meeting. All are welcome.
