LEWISTON – The American Heart Association has teamed up with St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center to raise individual awareness about cardiovascular disease by offering free cholesterol and blood pressure screenings.

In conjunction with the upcoming Lewiston/Auburn HeartWalk and National Cholesterol Education Month, the two organizations will offer a free mini health screening.

The screening will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, at the Montello School cafeteria. It is first come, first served and free of charge. Call 777-8898 for more information.
