PARIS – The Oxford Hills Adult and Community Education program at 256 Main St., South Paris, has announced a list of classes starting next week.
GED pre-testing and testing is done at Oxford Hills Adult Education and students can enter at any time during the school year. Classes are held at 6 p.m. Wednesdays. For more information or to register, call the office at 743-8842, option 1.
Classes include the following: algebra I, part I, taught by Patricia McCoy, from noon to 3 p.m. Mondays starting Sept. 8, at the Little Yellow Schoolhouse, Lower Main Street, Norway.
Art elements with Cindy Kugell takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. stating Monday, Sept. 8.
Cardiokarate-kickboxing workout taught by Renee St. John Monday and Wednesdays, Sept. 8 to Oct. 29, at Guy E. Row School Cafetorium.
Chairseating with Hans Paulsen teaching how to put new seats on old chairs, from 6 to 9 p.m. starting Wednesday, Sept. 10.
Chemistry with lab taught by Rebecca Costigan from 6 to 9 p.m. starting Wednesday, Sept. 10.
Computer literary with Clyde Clark from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. starting Thursday, Sept. 11.
Computers for senior citizens, also taught by Clyde Clark, from 3 to 5 p.m. starting Thursday, Sept. 11.
Electricity I with Jim Dunnington from 6 to 9 p.m. starting Wednesday, Sept. 10.
Emergency medical technician with Seth Guthartz from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays starting Sept. 8.
Basic first aid with Terri Dunham Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 8, 10, 15 and 17.
Keyboarding with Renee St. John from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting Sept. 9.
Stained glass with Gale Peterson Rivers from 6 to 9 p.m. starting Wednesdays, Sept. 10.
Welding with Rudy Danforth from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, starting Sept. 10.
