WELD – The annual reunion of the Worthley Family Phillips Branch was held Aug. 10 at the Mount Blue State Park, Webb Beach. Thirty-eight attended.
Geneva Worthley presided, requesting a moment of silence in memory of Basil Rollins, son of Grace Worthley. The business meeting was held after an opening prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.
It was decided officers will serve two years instead of one, therefore Worthley will continue as president with Cindy Worthley as vice president and Carol Rollins and Carl Beu sharing the secretarial/treasurer duties.
Crystal Nersessian will compile a Worthley genealogy and asks inputs, requests and questions. The oldest and youngest honors went to Grace Worthley and Chandler Rollins respectively. Erik Cote of Saco traveled the farthest.
After a potluck luncheon, a Scottish auction was held. Musical entertainment was provided by guitarists Richard Paul and Mike Worthley.
