WILTON – The Wilton United Methodist Church welcomed Gayle Holden as the church’s new pastor last month. Holden, a resident of Richmond, becomes the church’s first quarter-time pastor since a decision was made a few months ago to reduce pastoral services. Holden replaces the Rev. Kathryn MacGregor, who left for a church in New Hampshire.

Holden, a former Head Start teacher, is pastoring her first church. She and her husband, Bill, are the parents of three children, Charlotte, who will attend the University of Maine at Farmington in the fall, Nathan and Chris.

Church services are held at 10:30 a.m. Sundays at the Main Street church. Everyone is welcome.
