LEWISTON – Riverside Cemetery Association is looking for volunteers who can transfer records to a permanent computer data base.

The cemetery is well over 100 years old and several mayors, the first Bates College president, veterans from every war dating back to the Civil War and many who were influential in the growth of the community who are resting in the cemetery.

Many of the records are old and fragile, and the association is looking for volunteers who would donate as little or as much time as they can to transferring the information to a computer data base.
