FARMINGTON – Three women’s support groups are being offered this fall by SAVES, Franklin County’s Sexual Assault Center.

The Women’s Empowerment Group will meet from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays starting Sept. 28. The group will explore topics like what it means to be a woman, developing safe physical and emotional boundaries, self-soothing and trust. It is designed for women who are survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse or domestic violence.

Creative Recovery for Women: A Writers Group for Survivors will meet at 6:30 p.m. Mondays starting Sept. 27. The Expressive Arts Recovery Group will meet at 4 p.m. Mondays starting Sept. 27.

The groups will be facilitated by Aimee DesRoches.
