LEWISTON – The 150th anniversary of the founding of Trinity Episcopal Church was celebrated recently.
Two long-time parishioners met with Trinity historian Jerry DerBoghosian to look at parish records in search of their families who worshipped at the church since its founding in 1854. In checking parish records it was found that the ancestors of Mary Dexter Boutin were members of Trinity Parish in the 1860s and the families have worshipped there continuously since then.
The records also show that the ancestors of Margery Ashton Cormier were members of Trinity Parish in the 1880s and the families have also worshipped there since that time.
