During the month of November, Tripp advisee groups were encouraged to celebrate pets, with November being the National Pet Month.

Students and their advisors decorated their doors with the theme, “Why I’m Thankful For My Pet.” We saw lots of enthusiasm and creativity from everyone. Simply walking down a hallway brings feelings of support and harmony.

The big picture is that students have been bringing in pet supplies (dry food, litter, ect) for the elderly citizens in our community. Many elderly people are on a very fixed income, therefore with note producemoney to take care of their pets. Sometimes they even have to give them away, because they can’t afford them.

That’s why Tripp feels like we should help out and feel fortunate that we, ourselves have everything that we do. Most of the time we have enough to share. So learn from Tripp, and lend a helping paw.
