LIVERMORE – Boy Scout Troop 199 held its court of honor recently with the following awards and advancements.
The troop received the boys life award, perfect attendance award at roundtable meetings, third place in the Klondike Derby, the Kennebec Valley Gateway award, Milah award and second place in the spring camporee.
New Scouts in the troop are: Joshua Richardson, Mike Pepin and Stephen Nirza.
Advancing to second class: Tylor tourville and Dustin Wiggin; first class, Jacob Ferland; Star Scout, Travis Day.
Merit badges went to: Dustin Wiggins, emergency preparedness, reading, first aid; Jacob Ferland, emergency preparedness; Michael Langlin, first aid; Joseph Roy, emergency preparedness, communications.
Assistant patrol leader is Max Couture, Eagle Patrol; assistant patrol leader, Jacob Ferland, Flaming Arrows; patrol leader, Joseph Roy, Eagle Patrol; patrol leader, Travis Day, Dragon Patrol; patrol leader, Mike Pepin, Flaming Arrows; senior patrol leader, Scott Freeman.
Attending the spring camporee in May were: Mathew Bussiere, Mike Dunton, Jacob Ferland, Scott Freeman, Steve Nirza, Mike Pepin, Joshua Richardson, Joseph Roy, Timothy Tourville and Tylor Tourville. Adults accompanying the Scouts were Alex Freeman, Bunny Wiggin and Aaron Wiggin.
Scouts attending the jamboree were: Jacob Ferland, Scott Freeman, Steve Nirza, Mike Pepin, Joshua Richardson, Joseph Roy, Timothy Tourville, Taylor Tourville, Dustin Wiggin. Adults accompanying the youths were Warren Ferland, Michelle Ferland, Jim Langlin.
