RUMFORD – The River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition is partnering with the Black Mountain Day Camp run by the Greater Rumford Community Center to increase the number of children participating in summer camp programming at the Black Mountain recreation site.

The advantage of this union will include access to swimming and transportation to Black Mountain and will increase the number of area children participating in the program.

The tuition to attend Black Mountain Day Camp is $60 a week for the first child and $25 for each additional sibling. Area children unable to participate due to financial constraints, can apply for a scholarship from the Agnes M. Lindsay Trust.

Applications are available at the Health Communities office at 364-7408 or stopping by at 34 River St. Anyone wanting to sponsor a child should call the office.
